Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Fair Use Policy (FUP) protect the integrity, performance and reputation of the AETHERNET network for the benefit of all clients.

Prohibited activities

• Unauthorised access, scanning or attacks against third-party systems.
• Distribution of malware, phishing or unsolicited bulk email (spam).
• Sharing of CSAM or any content that is unlawful in South Africa.
• Operating open relays, open proxies or any service that materially degrades the network for others.

Fair Use

AETHERNET does not impose hidden caps or application-specific shaping. However, we reserve the right to engage with clients whose sustained usage materially impacts other clients (typically through sustained 24/7 saturation of a shared sector). In such cases we will always make contact before any action.

To report abuse originating from the AETHERNET network, email abuse@aethernet.co.za with full headers and timestamps.
